If you think the above images are photographs, you’re not alone–so did I. But they’re actually meticulously detailed, hyperrealistic pencil drawings by artist Paul Cadden. That’s right, pencil. Some people have all the talent.
These days floppy discs are more useful as paperweights than for actually storing data. Artist Nick Gentry paints striking portraits using this outdated techno-trash as his canvas. Maybe floppy discs aren’t so worthless after all. See more here, or at his website.
